About Claude

Thoughtful, capable — and the home of MCP.

Claude is built by Anthropic, the AI safety and research company founded in 2021. First released in 2023, Claude has earned a reputation with professionals for nuanced reasoning, reliable instruction-following, high-quality writing and some of the strongest coding ability available — which is why it is widely used by software teams and, increasingly, across whole organisations.

Claude comes in three model families: Opus, the most capable, for complex analysis and agentic work; Sonnet, the balanced everyday workhorse; and Haiku, the fast, low-cost option. Very large context windows let Claude read long contracts, reports and ticket histories in one go. Beyond chat, Claude Code and Cowork let it carry out multi-step tasks on files and tools, and Claude is also offered inside Microsoft 365 Copilot and on AWS, Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure.

Most importantly for us, Anthropic created the Model Context Protocol in November 2024 and donated it to the Linux Foundation's Agentic AI Foundation in December 2025. MCP is now the industry standard for connecting assistants to tools — and Claude was the first assistant built around it, with remote connectors that Claude Team and Enterprise owners can add for the whole organisation.

Strengths

What Claude does best.

MCP-native

Built around the Model Context Protocol from the start — connectors feel like part of the product, not a bolt-on.

Long documents

Reads and reasons across very long inputs: contracts, SOWs, policies and months of ticket history.

Writing quality

Clear, well-judged client communications, reports and summaries that need little editing.

Agentic work

With Cowork and Claude Code, Claude can plan and complete multi-step tasks across files and tools.

Coding & analysis

Consistently among the strongest models for code, scripting and structured analysis.

Safety-first

Anthropic's focus on reliability and safety makes Claude a comfortable choice for regulated teams.

Where Recursyv AI comes in

Claude can connect to anything. Recursyv AI gives it everything.

Claude's connector directory covers popular productivity apps, and any team can add a remote MCP server. But building, hosting, securing and maintaining your own connectors to Autotask, ConnectWise, NinjaOne or Xero is a serious engineering commitment — and each one only sees its own silo.

Recursyv AI is one remote connector that reaches all of them. Claude calls our tools whenever a question needs business data; we fetch and correlate it live across ITSM, CRM, RMM, knowledge and finance, and return one answer.

  • One connector, many systems — no per-application MCP servers to build or maintain
  • Built and maintained by Recursyv engineers — not sourced from a community marketplace
  • Per-user sign-in — each team member connects with their own permissions

Westmere migration — 68% of budget used

How it works with Claude

Live in Claude the same day.

Connect your applications

Recursyv engineers connect up to three of your applications to Recursyv AI. Nothing to install on your side.

Add the connector

A Claude Team or Enterprise owner adds Recursyv AI under Organisation settings → Connectors, using the remote MCP URL we provide.

Each user connects

Team members click Connect and sign in, so Claude acts with exactly that person's rights in each application.

Ask anywhere

Use it in Claude on the web, desktop and mobile, and in Cowork — Claude calls Recursyv AI whenever business data is needed.

Security & governance

Governed access, whichever Claude surface your people use.

Claude Team and Enterprise give owners control over which connectors are available, and each user authenticates individually. Recursyv AI adds the controls that matter once that connector reaches into your business systems.

  • Zero data at rest — a real-time bridge; your business data is never stored on our platform
  • Per-user permissions — each user's own rights in each application, a least-privilege read-only view, or a mix
  • Read by default — write scopes are separate and gated; no destructive actions are exposed as tools
  • Users connect with OAuth 2.1 — each user signs in to Recursyv AI from Claude through OAuth 2.1, with per-tool scopes; connectors that require it, such as Microsoft 365, also authenticate through your identity provider (e.g. Entra ID)
  • Full audit trail — every tool call logged by user, tenant and time, exportable to your SIEM
  • Azure region of your choice — ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials certified

FAQ

Claude and Recursyv AI — common questions

Which Claude plans can use Recursyv AI?

Recursyv AI is added as a custom remote MCP connector. For organisations we recommend Claude Team or Enterprise, where an owner adds the connector once for everyone and each member signs in with their own account.

Does it work in Cowork and the Claude mobile apps?

Yes. Remote connectors added to your Claude organisation are available across Claude on the web, the desktop app, the mobile apps and Cowork.

Does Recursyv AI store our data?

No. Recursyv AI stores no customer data — every query is processed in real time and encrypted in transit, and only the results needed to answer the question are returned to Claude.

Can we use Claude inside Microsoft 365 Copilot instead?

Yes — Recursyv AI is LLM-agnostic. If you reach Claude through Microsoft 365 Copilot, see our Copilot page; the same connections work in both.
